PHILIPPINES – Two police officers were killed and one civilian was injured in an ambush allegedly staged by armed group New People’s Army (NPA) in Bulan town, Sorsogon. South Korea’s second-biggest bank by assets, Woori Bank, has announced receiving final approval to take over Philippine-based bank, Wealth Development Bank.
