PHILIPPINES – Port operator International Container Terminal Services, Inc (PSE:ICT) announced on Tuesday the promotion of three officers to key senior positions.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange, ICTSI said it board of directors approved the promotion of officers during its board meeting on October 5.

Martin O’Neil was promoted to Executive Vice President from Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective 05 October. O’Neil holds 2,790 direct shares in the company.

Rafael Consing Jr was also promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from Vice President and Treasurer.

Jose Joel Sebastian was also appointed as Senior Vice President, Finance from Vice President and Controller. Sebastian holds 75,000 direct shares in the company.

International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICT) was incorporated on December 24, 1987 to operate, manage and develop the Manila International Container Terminal (MICT), which handles international container cargo at the Port of Manila.

In May 1988, the Philippine Ports Authority awarded the MICT contract to ICT. The Company started operating the MICT on June 12, 1988. ICT is an international operator of common user container terminals that serve the global container shipping industry.

At the Philippine Stock Exchange on Tuesday, International Container and Terminal Services, Inc. (PSE:ICT)’s stock was up 3.06 percent in early trading with a price of Php77.45 a share, up from the previous close of Php75.15. – BusinessNewsAsia.com
