As part of its international outreach, IISMEX will participate in The 9th ASEAN Smart Cities Network (ASCN) Annual Meeting, at Banyuwangi, Indonesia on 20–21 July 2026. The meeting is coordinated by the Directorate General of Regional Administration, Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, acting as Indonesia’s National Representative to the ASCN, to facilitate the participation of the Indonesian delegation and strengthen regional cooperation on smart city development. This participation forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen regional networks, observe market developments, and support knowledge exchange within the electric power and renewable energy sectors.
Building on this engagement, IISMEX is preparing to host its 9th edition, taking place from 11–13 August 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia. Held alongside Indo Water, Indo Waste & Recycling, and Indo Renergy & Electric, Indo Security, and Indo Firex 2026 Expo & Forum, this integrated exhibition will bring together policymakers, technology providers, investors, and industry experts to foster dialogue, partnerships, and innovation. The event is expected to welcome 700 exhibitors from 30 countries and 17,000 professional visitors, further strengthening Indonesia’s position as a regional hub for smart city technologies and solutions.
