Unicorn startup Revolution Precrafted Inc. has partnered with publicly listed Boulevard Holdings Inc. to develop a new resort and residential complex in Puerto Azul Resort and Golf Club, a sprawling golfing and resort destination in Cavite, once dubbed as “Asia’s Paradise”.

Revolution Precrafted Founder and CEO Robbie Antonio revealed that the company has signed a development and sales contract with BHI for an integrated resort resort-residential project covering a 13-hectare property inside the famous Puerto Azul complex. The project will have direct access to the serene and secluded Paniman cove.

Initially named Rogue Resorts and Residences, an initial 3.4 hectare will be developed as part of the first phase. It will feature a total of 783 luxurious condominium units, cluster homes, villas and curated units. Antonio shares that the first phase alone, will yield at least P3.4 billion in sales revenues.

The first phase will be developed in the next two years, while the remaining 9 hectares will be developed in the next 5 years depending on market demand, he added.

“We believe that this project will help bring back the focus to Puerto Azul. We want to introduce this beachfront enclave to a whole new generation of homeowners and leisure visitors who want to get away from the city and have a private sanctuary they can call their own,” Antonio added.

The main attraction of the development, Antonio said are the stylish beach club and glamping accommodations to be placed at the 122-meter beachfront owned by Rogue Resorts.

“A part of our goal is to make Rogue Resorts and Residences as a popular destination for leisure and hospitality. We have plans to enter into an asset-management agreement with the homeowners in case they want to lease their units to guests,” Antonio added.

Rogue Resorts and Residences is also being positioned as an eco-sustainable complex that will spearhead sustainability efforts and introduce eco-friendly amenities and tours to celebrate the natural beauty of Paniman beach.

BHI Senior Vice President for Hotel Operations Mike Panlilio meanwhile revealed that that the company is in continued talks with Revolution Precrafted for other portions of the expansive Puerto Azul property.

“The 13-hectare property for Rogue Resorts and Residences is just the beginning of what we hope to be a long-term partnership. We are considering the expansion of this partnership in the years to come. This is in line with BHI’s goal of strengthening our interests in leisure and hospitality,” Panlilio said.

Panlilio anticipates a steady flow of guests and vehicular traffic to the area thanks to a series of infrastructure projects already in the pipeline, including the extension of the Cavitex, and the scheduled operations of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway. These will help cut down the travel time from the current 1 hour and 15 minutes (from Mall of Asia) to barely 45 minutes. – © BusinessNewsAsia.com
