Felix&Fido, a startup dedicated to revolutionizing pet care through technology-driven veterinary services, has announced the completion of a $4 million pre-seed funding round. PSL Ventures led the investment, which will be used to launch premium membership-based pet care plans. These plans offer personalized and convenient pet healthcare through in-clinic, at-home, and telemedicine services.

The company aims to bring innovation to the veterinary care sector, which has been stagnant due to outdated delivery models and traditional veterinary methods. With a continuous care model, Felix&Fido offers flexible and tailored care to pet parents, while also supporting an in-demand virtual model to improve productivity and profitability, while ensuring a positive culture.

Felix&Fido’s membership plans prioritize preventive medicine and customized care, offering an unlimited number of appointments with no exam fees, priority access to urgent care, at-home visits by a veterinary nurse, 24/7 telemedicine access, all vaccines, comprehensive wellness assessments, and support for pet insurance claims.

Currently, Felix&Fido offers in-home veterinary services through its mobile nurse unit and plans to open its first clinic in Issaquah, Washington, in May, with additional clinic hubs to follow later in the year. The funding round was backed by Rover Group, and the company anticipates additional funding leading up to the opening of its first clinic.
