Bayanihan.com, a new online platform connecting Filipinos worldwide through events and business promotions, launched on Wednesday at the Thomas Edison Hotel in New York.

Founded by Anthony Leuterio, the platform aims to provide a centralized hub for events, gatherings, and business opportunities tailored to the Filipino diaspora.

The launch of Bayanihan.com marks a step forward in uniting Filipinos globally, offering a space where the community can engage with local events and support small businesses, Leuterio said at the event.

“We aim to drive opportunities for growth, especially for small Filipino businesses, and foster a sense of community among Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and Filipinos abroad.”

The launch event was attended by Francisco Hilario Lardizabal, the Tourism Director Attaché from the Philippine Department of Tourism in New York, who praised Leuterio and the team behind Bayanihan.com for creating a dedicated space to keep the Filipino community connected.

The word “Bayanihan” represents the Filipino spirit of communal support and collaboration, and Bayanihan.com seeks to embody this by promoting Philippine events, products, and services to audiences worldwide.

Leuterio emphasized that “Bayanihan is the Philippines’ answer to uniting all OFWs around the world, providing a platform where Filipinos can come together to support each other’s businesses and celebrate Filipino culture.”

The portal will allow event organizers to post detailed information about their festivals, including photos and updates, giving them an avenue for cross-promotion in other countries.

The website also aims to help organizers attract sponsorships and secure financial support to enhance the visibility and impact of their events.

It also serves as a community hub for Filipinos and cultural enthusiasts to engage, share experiences, and participate in discussions about various cultural celebrations.

The site is officially registered and patented with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPO), marking its commitment to providing a secure and accessible space for both organizers and users.
