Avantor, Inc. (NYSE: AVTR), a leading global provider of mission-critical products and services to customers in the life sciences and advanced technology industries, is expanding availability of its RIM® single-use portfolio of bioprocessing solutions across Asia Pacific (APAC). This gives biopharmaceutical manufacturers greater access to local solutions designed to support continuity of supply, efficient operations, and specific requirements that they need.

RIM’s proprietary technology provides single-use bioprocess customers with differentiated product offerings.

Gladys Wang, Vice President, Bioprocessing, Asia Pacific, Avantor, says: “Customers across APAC are looking for reliable single-use solutions that can support their manufacturing needs close to home. By expanding the availability of RIM solutions across the region, we are helping customers access customizable products backed by the responsiveness of regional manufacturing and the consistency of Avantor’s global quality systems.”

RIM provides reliable single-use bioprocessing solutions to enable biomanufacturers scale with confidence.

The RIM portfolio includes single-use consumables including bioprocessing bags, assemblies and tubing and components, as well as mixing and storage hardware, to support a range of bioprocessing applications. RIM single-use consumables are manufactured at Avantor’s Changzhou, China, facility, the company’s first single-use production plant in APAC. The 2,600-square-meter facility has more than 20 years of single-use design and manufacturing experience, is certified to ISO 9001:2015 and operates in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles.

RIM provides reliable single-use bioprocessing solutions designed to support unique process requirements, helping biomanufacturers scale with confidence. With in-region manufacturing and local component supply chains, RIM enables Avantor to support APAC customers with a more responsive supply model and right-fit solutions for their workflows. RIM products are available exclusively to customers in APAC.
