Nhi Dong 315, a Vietnamese tech-enabled healthcare services company, has recently closed its pre-Series A financing from a consortium of international investors from Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Europe.

The investment syndicate family offices (Nisaetus, Samsara Holdings), Venture Capital funds (Tremont Capital Ventures International), a Japanese healthcare corporate and individual financial investors (Bo Tan, Dennis Ly, Christophe Péron, Grégoire Amigues).

This was Nhi Dong 315’s first external funding since opening its first clinic in June 2019.

Nhi Dong 315, which operates a network of pediatric clinics – each with an embedded and fully licensed pharmacy – stated that it will use the funds to increase its operational footprint to establish itself as the leading provider of affordable and accessible pediatric care to the growing middle class of Vietnam.

The company will also invest in its technology suite, which today includes a patient-facing mobile booking app and proprietary electronic health record (EHR) system.

Vy Nguyen, CEO & Founder, launched the company to meet growing consumer demand for
pediatric services in Vietnam, starting with HCMC’s young, tech-savvy and upwardly mobile
middle-class population.

By combining standardized quality across locations, competitive pricing, and a unified online/offline customer experience, Nhi Dong 315 competes favorably in a space that is today highly fragmented, informal, and under-penetrated by technology.

Since inception, Nhi Dong 315 has performed over 65,000 patient examinations. As a mass premium healthcare services provider, the company plans to operate at least one clinic in each district of Ho Chi Minh City and, afterwards, expand further into other major cities
and provinces across the country.

With the support of its diverse investor base, Nhi Dong 315 will draw on international best practices and local expertise as it introduces higher levels of technology and services across the continuum of care.

Nhi Dong 315 was founded in by Vy Nguyen, a Vietnamese native who has launched
several successful businesses across verticals since returning to Vietnam after studying at
Purdue University in the USA.

The company’s Vice Director, Zig Wronsky, is an experienced early stage investor in the healthcare, consumer, and business services sectors in the USA and Southeast Asia. – BusinessNewsAsia.com
