    Philippine Government Announces New Appointments

    MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Philippine government announced new appointments of President Benigno Aquino III to various diplomatic and government posts.

    The new appointess are:

    Hon. Amable R. Aguiluz V – Special Envoy of the President to the Kingdom of Bahrain

    Joselito A. Jimeno – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Switzerland

    Leslie J. Baja – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Arab Republic of Egypt

    Gov. Denis B. Habawel – Chairperson, Regional Peace and Order Council, Cordillera Administrative Region (Department of the Interior and Local Government)

    Rafael M. Iriarte, Ralph Pastor A. Salazar, Joseph L. Emnas, Fernando L. Zulueta, and Fernando V. Barreiro – members of the Board of Directors of Philippine National Oil Company Exploration Corporation Exploration Corporation (PNOC EC)

    Regina S. Antequisa – National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) member, representing the victims of disasters and calamities

    Ninian S. Sumadia – NAPC member, representing the youth and students

    Paisalin P.D. Tago, Jamel P. Dinil, Abdulwahid A. Inju, and Analiza G. Flores-Malayang – National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) commissioners representing the women sector (term expires on March 7, 2018). – BusinessNewsAsia.com
