Hainan Airlines and Shenzhen Airport Group held a launch ceremony at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport on May 26 to announce the recommencement of flights from Shenzhen to Rome, Auckland, and Brussels.

The first Shenzhen-Rome direct flight, HU437, is scheduled to depart from Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport on May 28, marking the resumption of Hainan Airlines’ fourth international route from Shenzhen.

Flights to Auckland and Brussels will also restart in June, bringing the total number of international routes departing from Shenzhen to six.

The Shenzhen-Rome route will operate twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays, with a Boeing 787 wide-body aircraft serving the route. Economy class tickets from Shenzhen will start at 1,600 yuan (excluding tax).




Starting from June 17, Hainan Airlines will resume flights between Shenzhen and Auckland, operating two round trips per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays using wide-body A330 aircraft.

Economy class fares from Shenzhen start at 1,900 yuan (excluding tax). The Shenzhen-Brussels route will operate two round trips per week on Wednesdays and Sundays from June 21, with wide-body B787 aircraft servicing the route.

Economy class fares from Shenzhen start at 3,000 yuan (excluding tax). All flight information and fares are subject to availability.

Passengers can inquire about and purchase tickets for Hainan Airlines’ flights through various channels, including the airline’s website, app, WeChat account and mini-program, service hotline, affiliated ticket offices, and authorized ticket agencies.




Hainan Airlines also offers convenient travel options such as advance seat selection, pre-paid baggage, inflight upgrades, and air ticket + visa packages. Brussels Airport provides additional services, including visa-free transit and luggage interline, facilitating seamless connections to other destinations in Europe, Africa, and North America.

Hainan Airlines has resumed or initiated nearly 30 international and regional roundtrip passenger routes from multiple cities in China. The airline plans to continue resuming routes affected by the pandemic and expanding its international and regional route network to meet the travel demands of passengers traveling to and from China.
