A selected assembly of Cebuano personalities, including well-known bloggers, media figures, content creators, and influencers, were present to witness the first showing of this highly anticipated movie. “Wish” is an action-adventure animation that delves into the story of Asha, a keen and idealistic character, whose intense wish summons a cosmic force named Star, depicted as a little ball of boundless energy.

In a narrative filled with bravery and aspiration, Asha and Star embark on a quest to reconnect humanity with the power of wish-making. Their adventure leads them to confront King Magnifico, the ruler of Rosas, in a bid to save their community. The film emphasizes the theme that the blend of human courage and stellar magic can lead to extraordinary outcomes.

The voice cast of “Wish” includes notable talents such as Academy Award-winning actor Ariana DeBose voicing Asha, Chris Pine as the antagonist King Magnifico, and Alan Tudyk lending his voice to Asha’s favorite goat, Valentino.
