Vista Land & Lifescapes, Inc., one of the Philippines’ leading integrated property developers and the country’s largest homebuilder took home the Most Innovative Community Developer award at The Global Economics Awards 2020.

“We are delighted to be conferred with this Most Innovative Community Developer Award as this serves as a testament to the innovations we are doing in all our Vista Land communities. However, aside from this recognition, what pleases us more is the fact that the Company continues to provide the Vista Land standard of Living to our residents through our integrated property developments across the country most especially during these challenging times,” said Vista Land Chairman Manuel B. Villar, Jr.

With its companies and brands boasting over four decades of industry leadership, Vista Land brings with it a proven track record in building complete communities by providing Filipinos with homes surrounded by modern lifestyle features including retail complexes, leisure amenities, offices centers, school campuses, and places of remembrance and worship.

Amid this global health crisis, the Company is glad to have always been able to cater to the changing needs and preferences of our homebuyers and to stay true to its core goal of building homes for every Filipino.

The pandemic caused a shift of customer preference to house and lot products in the provincial areas, which is the core strategy of Vista Land through its housing product offerings in 147 cities and municipalities across 49 provinces in the country.

This pandemic has impacted the company’s performance as well as the economy in general yet the company believes that a lot of opportunities are still there especially in the real estate sector.

The company’s operational GFA has increased from 20% during ECQ to 79% at present.

In terms of its residential business, Vista Land’s June sales are already at 70% of pre-COVID level with July and August sales tracking better than that of June. The more than 7% back-to-back increase in OF remittances for June and July also bodes well for the company since 55% to 60% of its sales are from overseas Filipinos.

“We want to share this award to all of our stakeholders especially to our employees for without them and their commitment to Vista Land’s goal, this recognition wouldn’t be possible. We also hope that beyond this award, our work to provide quality homes and lifestyle will continue to be appreciated by our very own homebuyers and customers – who at the end of the day are our most vocal judge,” stated Manuel Paolo A. Villar, Vista Land President & CEO. – BusinessNewsAsia.com
