Malaysian police trailing the whereabouts of the four North Korean suspects in the murder of Kim Jon Nam, the elder half-brother of North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un, said the suspects have already fled Malaysia.
In a press conference, Malaysia’s Deputy Inspector-General of Police Noor Rashid Ibrahim said investigators were seeking four more suspects from North Korea, whom the believed had fled the country on the same day of the killing.
The Malaysian police have arrested four suspects, the latest being a 47-year-old an from North Korea, who worked as an IT engineer at a Kuala Lumpur-based company.
It is yet to know the connection between him and two female suspects, one with Vietnamese travel document and the other an Indonesian, A Malaysian local male has also been detained to assist investigation.

“Our job is to reveal the truth, to get facts and evidence, and bring the perpetrators to justice,” he said.
Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had earlier confirmed that the dead man was Kim Jong Nam but no member of Kim’s family had requested to claim the body.
North Korea earlier said it will categorically reject the post mortem conducted by Malaysia on its national who died in Kuala Lumpur Monday.
“The Malaysian side forced the post mortem without our permission and witnessing, we will categorically reject the result of the post mortem conducted unilaterally excluding our attendance,” North Korea’s ambassador Kang Chol said in a statement.
The Malaysian police dismissed allegation by the ambassador that Malaysia had purposely delayed the release of the body of its citizen.
Malaysian police chief Khalid Abu Bakar told state news agency Bernama that the investigation could not be completed as long as the DNA sample from the family had not been obtained. – BusinessNewsAsia.com
